UCB notified by Secretariat-General of the Higher Education Council regarding the president

The Secretariat-General of the Higher Education Council has notified University College of Bahrain (UCB) of the necessity of sending their candidates to fill key vacancies in the college (President – Vice-Presidents - Deans) in accordance with UCB's organizational structure.

The candidates should meet the requirements stipulated in Resolution No. 2/2007 on the academic and administrative bylaws of the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).

This notification comes after UCB has withdrawn the papers of its candidate for vice-president, where the appointment of an academic president for the institution is a requirement of HEIs' governance.
