Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council and Deputy Chairperson of its Board of Trustees, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, today received the Bahraini Ambassador to Oman, Juma bin Ahmed Al-Kaabi.
Dr. Shaikha Rana lauded the remarkable efforts exerted by the ambassador to enhance the distinguished brotherly Bahraini-Omani relations.
She said that ties between the two countries are a role model for fraternity thanks to the visions and directives of the two countries’ leaderships, the solid deep-rooted relations between the two brotherly peoples and their constant keenness to bolster their cooperation in the political, economic, educational and cultural fields, among others.
Ambassador Al-Kaabi congratulated Dr. Shaikha Rana on the issuance of a royal decree appointing her as Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council, wishing her every success in developing higher education in the kingdom, as well as in increasing Bahrain’s cooperation with other countries in the academic and research fields.
